Let's talk...
Study All Night, Sleep All Day
During midterms and finals, many of us have found ourselves staying awake most nights and crashing (sleeping) some mornings. Personally, I have experienced this cycle almost every semester in the collegiate parts of my life. Although we do our best to prepare, purchase all the supplies we think we will need, and mark our calendars with important dates, midterms and finals never cease to throw many of us slightly off our sleep cycle. To make sure we cram important and "never-ending" information into our minds, we might try a new habit, a new place of study, or maybe even new types of brain foods. Whatever seems to work and help us obtain that final letter, we have all probably tried it.
Many many nights, you can find me staying up late reading, typing and rehearsing for the semester. Whether it be for an important assignment, midterms and definitely finals, staying up late just happens to come about. Crash sleeping during the day sometimes follows, typically after the assignment, midterm or final has been completed. If anyone knows of a way to better prepare in order to achieve success, please feel free to send me a letter with any words of advice. Words of wisdom are of great appreciation.
